This is information held and provided for the public by the Japan Patent Office.
The name of a patent attorney listed as an agent on an application in 2021 is counted as one per application, and the top five classifications are shown by classification number for patents and utility models, designs, and trademarks.
For patents and utility models, designs and trademarks, those with the highest total number of application listed are shown in the upper part, and classifications having highest number of application listed in each division are shown on the left side.
In cases where the top five in a division all have the same number and there are five or more items, all of the classifications are shown, and, conversely, there may also be cases where there are four or fewer (there is no relationship between the number of classifications shown and the amount of applications handled).
If there are no applications on which a patent attorney’s name is listed as an agent, the space is left blank.
